Recombinant products generated by Glyco Expressions Technologies employ a proprietary Glo-Enzyme fusion protein strategy that provides efficient production and secretion in mammalian cells. The resulting products retain full enzymatic activity and can be quantified by fluorescence measurement. The technology also allows easy cleavage of fusion tags and remodeling of glycan structures on the recombinant products. The result is a flexible collection of Glyco-Enzymes and glycosylated products that are optimally suited for diverse biochemical, analytical, synthetic, cell biology and biotherapeutic applications. Previously, a library of more than 350 expression constructs have been created to produce enzymatic reagents as a novel resource for the glycoscience community. The expression platform has the capacity to provide high-throughput custom production of complex glycosylated biomolecules for research and industry.
